What is Webfishing?
Webfishing is a multiplayer online game where you can catch fish, make friends, upgrade your tools, explore the island and much more! The game was orignally created in 8 hours by lamedeveloper in 2022 as a part of Goodgis' Autumn Game Jam. In October of 2024 The game was given an overhaul and released to steam.
Locations
Webfishing has lots of fun little places to discover. Here is everything you need to know.
Locations 1-4: The Camp 
First location: the Quest board. 
Here you can find quests on which fish you should collect, but the fishing is random, so the quests aren't very easy to pick and choose. Don't worry though! the quests end up completing themselves most of the time, and they can give you money, cosmetics, and titles.
Our second location is the Cabin.
In this place you can talk to the big frog man to upgrade your fishing rod, buy a fishing buddy, and upgrade your camp to unlock new upgrades. You can also talk to the ferret(?) to buy new cosmetics to make your character truly you.
Our third location is the vending machine.
Here you can buy lots of different drinks to change your experience. Some drinks make you grow and shrink, some drinks buff your fishing ability for a short time, and some might get you a little tipsy ;)
Location 4: The Aquarium 
This place may look empty in the picture, but on public servers you can bet there will be a MASSIVE fish sitting in here. In this place you can put your favorite fish to display in the tank.
Location 5: The yellow cabin
This one is a little trickier to find, as its tucked away in the corner of the map. Tip: Follow the beach on the map across the bridge. This building is pretty cool. Instead of entering it, it acts as a shop. The mysterious guy inside sells props, trinkets, and scratch tickets. Don't blow all of your money on them though!

Community
The community in this game is super nice and welcoming. It's really easy to make friends and just have fun fishing together.
Fun Facts:
•There is a secret area that was originally a glitch, but the developer chose to make it a feature. This location is the Void, which can be accessed by placing your private island inside the wall of the Cabin, entering it, then exiting.
•You can stand on the boulder in the big lake! Just use the blue bouncy mushroom. Warning: this might take a couple attempts.
